So, yeah, my birthday, like two weeks ago. Friday the 13th! Party...well, the plan. After a week of solid partying with the Boyds and the "other" Mr. Savage, why not start off by tackling 4000 cc's of beer? PERFECT!!! Why not add in BEER CAN CHICKEN!!!
REMEMBER FOLKS, KOREANS THINK THIS IS CLASSY, NOT TRASHY AND OH SO STEVE!!!
So after gnoshing on interesting food at a brauhaus, and making 8 more liters of beer disappear, take a LONG train ride to party-town! Well, good old Hongdae, waiting and ready for us as usual...unfortunately, the other friends were NOT ready and waiting! Grr! So after laying in the street for about an hour sobering up, we went to a sweet club that lets ex-pats in for free (they know we drink a lot, so they do that, Koreans are rookies when its not Soju). While here, the Boyds and the "other" Mr. Savage, as well as other friends decide that they all will buy me drinks. THANK GOD FOR BUDWEISER. So then the big boss shows up, and the other office birthday celebrant as well. SHE IS TANKED!!! Proceeds to dance, flail, then pass out on the bar. AWESOME!!! Hope to do that next year. Anyway, big boss, buys the Boyds and the "other" Mr. Savage drinks...after about 3 he asks Marty: "Do you work for me?" HA HA HA!!! Awesome, of course not, but cool anyway. He is awesome. Anyway, survive the night of drinking and dancing, and best of all, no illness the next day, hooray for beer.
